I'm a wedding photographer based out of South Bend, Indiana.

I believe in always having a vase full of fresh flowers, especially during peony season. That ending a long day should always be on the patio, with a good book and a glass of rosé. And, going to the beach is always a good idea.

Talk about a cold day. I was really thrown by the idea of just how cold the wind was at the last weekend. I knew it would be cold, but I didn’t expect it to be bearable or to not rain. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. However, I was in a down coat, my bride & groom were not so we made the session go as quickly in each set as possible..

We started up by the Veranda, where they are getting married, and then we moved to  the bluff at the top of the hill. I’ve photographed up there a few times, but it was kind of nice doing them in a different way so that the images were a little more customized for Sara & Chris. Once we were done being frozen, we went to the South Bend Chocolate Cafe to change and get some hot cocoa before heading out to Tiscornia Park for a few images with the beach, lighthouse and water in the background. Just as we started walking up, the sun decided to pop out and gave us a beautiful end of the session image. I am so in love with these images. They turned out great, regardless of how cold they were, they rocked it.
