I had so much fun with these two on Sunday. Getting to know my clients really helps me to make sure that when their wedding day comes around, I know how to get them comfortable in front of my camera, especially if I have limited time with them and I need to be on my “A Game”. The engagement session is THE BEST way for any photographer to be able to create better wedding day images.

Lori & Michael are a perfect example of this. Lori told me that she has had a few bad experiences in the past with pictures, which created some anxiety for her. As our time passed on, she definitely started to settle into more comfort and by the time we were done, she said her anxiety for the wedding is down and feels more comfortable with it now. This is always great to hear and I’m glad that we did their session a year before their wedding date, now she can have less stress leading up to her big day. I, personally, can’t wait.
