They met as freshman at the University of Notre Dame on the walk back from DomerFest. An old high school friend of Katie’s was a neighbor of Brett at Dillon Hall and introduced them. Their friendship quickly turned into love and joined the perfectly Notre Dame tradition of marrying your future spouse at DomerFest. It was fitting that while on vacation in Puerto Rico, Brett decided to pop the question with all of their friends there to celebrate.
