Who doesn’t want to put their wedding gown back on to celebrate their one year anniversary? Not only was Kara up for the challenge, but we also had fun styling the scene with pieces from her actual wedding day.

We chose a picnic style theme to make the scene a more relaxed version of their wedding. Kara took flowers from her father’s garden (which were also used throughout her wedding decor) and made a bouquet. We rented a few unique, low top tables from MichaelAngelo’s Events and placed pictures from their wedding day throughout. Her top layered cake from her wedding added the perfect balance with their champagne glasses. To top it off, they brought their little album that had photos from their wedding blog post to reminisce over where they were a year ago.

I can’t tell you how excited I am with these photos and love that we took the idea of the anniversary session and took it to a whole new level on their 1 year anniversary (well, the day before).
