I'm a wedding photographer based out of South Bend, Indiana.

I believe in always having a vase full of fresh flowers, especially during peony season. That ending a long day should always be on the patio, with a good book and a glass of rosé. And, going to the beach is always a good idea.

South Bend, Indiana Engagement Photographers | October 13, 2013

I am so excited to post this session from Sunday.. I am so over joyed with the light that I had for their early morning session. Although we were limited with the wetness of the grass, I am really excited with what we were able to do despite our limitations.

Colleen called me only 2 weeks after Joe FINALLY popped the question. I was able to also talk to her parents too and address all of their questions. The more we discussed their day and their love story, the more I fell in love with Colleen. She has such a great personality that illuminates Joe and their love just speaks for itself.

Colleen told me they are outdoorsy type of people so we chose to go to St. Patrick’s Park for their session. St. Patrick’s is such a great place because there is so much to work with. Joe’s eyes lit up when I said we could start out by the “winery”. He may have been slightly disappointed when he realized that it was 1 row of grape vines. However, for a guy that likes his picture taken at a level of 1.5, I think he did really well and I think I may raised the bar a little bit. Or at least, I know have to make him a little higher. 🙂
