The day started out perfect. It was overcast with the perfect amount of sun diffused by the clouds and the cold was bearable. With 63 of their closest friends and family, Taryn & Joe became husband and wife as they rang in the New Year.
All she knew was that she wanted certain colors and then Taryn left the rest to her mother, Debbie, a former Southern California wedding planner (yes, I’m jealous). I mean, come on, look at the talent she brought to this wedding. It was the most perfect combination of Victorian Gothic, which is perfect for Taryn considering everyone expected her to show up in a black wedding gown (which she wanted from Vera Wang) and have her wedding on Halloween. I’m a little bummed she didn’t wear the black dress, but Taryn looked amazing in her white dress.
Their ceremony was short and sweet, but crafted to perfection but the Bride’s Grandfather. During their cocktail hour, MichaelAngelo’s flipped the ceremony into an amazing reception. Between the wrought iron centerpieces, plum and gold flower arrangements and the uplighting, I’m not really sure what my favorite part of the night really was. Maybe it was Taryn’s top hat that her mother made for her that everyone kept trying to steal because it was the best New Year’s Eve hat ever made.
Such unique details paired with stunning, timeless photos. Excellent! 🙂
Thank you Ashton!
As a NYE bride myself, I have to say, this was flawlessly executed… having you mom as a wedding planner? Who is that lucky!!? Beautiful images!Congrats to the couple!
Right!?! I would’ve loved to have had a wedding planner for a mom. Happy Belated Anniversary!
What an incredible venue! I love the dad’s first reaction and all the details. Beautiful!
I’m a sucker for “daddy-daughter” first looks more than I am with bride/groom first looks. I got lucky with this wedding and got both. 😉
What a stunning wedding! You captured the emotion of the day beautifully!
Thanks so much Valerie.. It was an amazing wedding to be apart of.
Wow, I love this wedding. I love any wedding that is around the holidays. The inside of that place looks amazing!
They did an amazing job incorporating the location’s holiday decor.
How much fun!! I love how you captured the emotions of the day perfectly!
Thanks Kami! It was an amazing day!
Wow! You captured such incredible images!
Thanks Lori! It was a great day for everyone!
Those jewelry details are like WHOA!!! And I love a bride that will go out in the snow for those beautiful winter photos! Gorgeous work!!!
Thanks. I LOVE photographing details. The kicker is this bride is from Southern California so the fact that she was willing to be in the snow was pretty great. She lucked out, it JUST snowed a day or two before.
AMAZING IMAGES! Love your details. <3
Katie–A beautiful job, as always. They really made McKenna look GORGEOUS! That last photo is spectacular. But I’d expect nothing less from you and Chris 🙂 Well done!
You are so sweet. Isn’t it interesting to see McKenna hall in a different light? Since this was their first year doing weddings, it’s exciting to see what they’re doing with the space.
