South Haven North Beach Engagement Session : Chelsea & Brad

Chelsea & Brad first met in Battle Creek, Michigan where they both worked in an apartment community. Having just moved there, Brad only had a short time of working with Chelsea as she had just been promoted to work at a different community within the same company. It was a chance encounter and they stayed in touch.

They love to go out to fun restaurants where they can enjoy each other’s company and conversation. They also love to spend time with their friends and family, play board and card games, try new restaurants, wineries & beaches.

It was on the beautiful shoreline of Holden Beach, North Carolina during one of Chelsea’s family vacation that Brad decided to propose. It was the perfect amount of beauty, happiness & love.

The plan for their engagement session in South Haven on North Beach was a tricky one since the rain wasn’t sure what it wanted to do, but we were determined to have a great time and capture their love for one another.

I totally approve of her anchor necklace. It’s gorgeous!!

Brad’s grandmother gifted them this horseshoe for a happy marriage. I LOVE the idea that his grandparent’s have given them a symbol to always remind them of their happy beginning.

A rope-wrapped engagement is perfect for this nautical-loving couple. 🙂

Brad is normally a “hat-guy” so naturally, we had to bring in his hat somehow. Of course, Chelsea looks cuter in it 😉
