If you remember from their engagement session that I did only 2 days before their wedding, these two love to swing dance, go beer/wine tasting and showering one another with unexpected gifts. You’ll notice that during their first dance, they chose to swing dance for their guests.
Meaghan & David met in South Bend. She, a Notre Dame Grad, is from California and he, a Holy Cross Grad, is from New York so it made sense to get married where their story all began. It was very important to both Meaghan & David to get married where they fell in love and in the church of their dreams. As if they weren’t already in love with the beauty of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame, they were also in love with the vintage charm of the Palais Royale.
Having been married since November of 2015, they didn’t want to wait a few more months to get married. They were happy to take a date in February and it ended up working out for their families’ schedule too.
They wanted their day to amazing, but they didn’t pass up the opportunity for Meaghan’s mom to take over some of the planning in order to make sure their guests felt comfortable and enjoyed themselves. Sticking to a more classic approach to their style, they wanted a well-organized, guest-focused wedding.
Meaghan & David, I hope the two of you enjoy every minute of being married. I hope these memories act as a constant reminder of how much love you have for one another.
