I love when I get to meet my clients for the first time as most of them are booking over the phone. I knew that I loved this couple when I first spoke with Laura over the phone and then had a chance to briefly speak with Matt just before we finalized the booking process. They are the type of couple that you just can’t help but want to be friends with, know everything about them and become part of the family. When we first started on campus, we took the long hike over to the “Rudy rock”. I love this spot because it really highlights the perfect view of the Basilica and the Golden Dome. As we took a few more photos around campus, I found different ways to pull Laura’s amazing laugh out of her and to also document the campus as something that means a lot to them.
We finished the session at Laura’s parents house. They are multiple acres, you know the amount that requires a golf cart. Although Laure didn’t grow up in this house, it has a special meaning in the photos and created beautiful imagery. I can’t wait for their wedding. They are such a great couple and I expect lots of great memories to be made the day of their June 2014 wedding.
