It was the perfect August afternoon. Perfect breeze, not too hot, the lake in the background and a couple so in love they just couldn’t wait for the ceremony to begin. As laughter filled the church, Katie & Will said “I Do” in the beautiful chapel on Culver Academy campus. It was a beautiful ceremony that was simple and straight to the point, just the way they wanted it.
I was so excited to be back on campus and even though Will said he wanted more foliage than water (my heart broke a little), he obliged me as he dipped his bride seaside. Yes, I know it’s not the sea, but a girl can dream. These two were so into one another, they made my job easy and they flew through their portrait part of the day with me with ease and grace. It was like magic.
Katie & Will, I wish you all the love and happiness that your wedding day brought. I have never met two people more right for one another than the two of you. You compliment each other so beautifully.
More and more couples have chosen to do first looks this year and I may or may not be loving it.
It doesn’t take much for Will to make Katie laugh. It was great!
As if I didn’t Culver’s campus enough, THE SHIP WAS IN THE WATER!!!!
Will’s mother did SUCH an amazing job on these flowers. Such beautiful combinations of hydrangeas, tulips & peacock feathers.
Gotta love super hero socks!
Love all the blue! You made the lighting work for you here! It’s so fun.
