Since their days in College, they wanted to get married at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame. It was that extra icing on the cake that they would be getting married during Memorial Day Weekend. Mick had contacted the Basilica before he proposed to Heather to explain his station and the fact that Heather was scheduled to graduate as an OB/GYN. He wanted to make sure he could be back in the states at a time that Heather also was going to be available.
Their day was nothing short of joyful and full of love.
