It was just another day at the University of Indianapolis at their soccer program in 2009. They were introduced by mutual friends. Justin played golf and Michelled played soccer. Just like with any small college, they kind of already knew a little bit about the one another.
During one of their annual trips to Skookum Lake in Ontario, Canada, Justin found the perfect time to propose. His parent’s grandma and grandpa started their lives togethers in the back country on a 600 acres farm leading to an old logging lake. It’s on this lake that the entire family gets together for a week in July to camp in the cabins. On a hike up the bluff overlooking the lake with Justin’s cousin, niece, and nephews, Justin got down on one knee and proposed. This was Justin’s favorite spot and Michelle is his favorite person. When they got to the bottom of the bluff, they told Justin’s family and headed back to the farm house to call Michelle’s parents and grandparents the news.
Hello, this is a total swoon worthy proposal. These two are so much fun and I can’t wait for their wedding day.
