I will never forget the first time I met Danielle & Brian. They complimented one another so well that you would’ve thought they had been together for years. A perfect match, if you will. You see, when Danielle walks into a room, her smile is the first thing you notice. It’s welcoming and honest. Along her side, is a man who exudes confidence and determination. Maybe that is why they are so perfect for one another, they are a power-couple.
Their wedding day was no different. They were both very much excited to get the show on the road. Even having communion being locked in a safe, delaying the ceremony by 10 minutes, didn’t phase them. They handled the delay with grace and excitement as the countdown reset itself until they would become husband and wife. As they surrounded themselves with their friends and family, their love was effortless and exciting. Never once letting go of her smile, Danielle married Brian and celebrated the one thing in life that matters : the love they have for one another.
This is probably one of the best stories of tradition that I’ve ever heard. When Danielle was born, her Grandfather opened this Gold Wasser Vodka bottle and took a shot with her dad. This started a tradition that at every major life event for Danielle, her Grandfather and Father took a shot from this bottle. As time went on, Danielle took over Grandpa’s shots and on her wedding day, she and her Father took the very last 2 shots from this bottle. How amazing is it that the last two shots would be on such a perfect day?
I mean, come on… Brian’s reaction when he first saw Danielle was awesome. He was nervous until the moment he saw her and then it was like a permanent smile from ear to ear.
Speaking of traditions… The lace around her flowers was from her grandmother’s wedding dress and The Flower Cart took a hanky from her other grandmother and turned it into a flower to put in her bouquet. How unique is that?
Their first stop for pictures was at their plot of land that they have yet to break ground at with their dog. The sweet slobbery face did a much better job than I thought he would.
Yes, I went into a wooded area with Danielle & Brian.. And yes, I checked her dress for ticks. I conquered my fear of ticks and went into the woods.
Anytime I am on campus, I see this tree and I can’t help but think of California when I see it. I just love how elegant and amazing they look surrounded by the tree’s limbs.
I just… I can’t even.. I’m obsessed!!!
The most epic first dance, ever!!!
Congratulations to Danielle & Brian. I was so honored to be there to document your day and hope that your life together is as amazing are your wedding was.
