On a cool, Spring morning, she began her day by being pampered by the stylists at Nicholas J. Salon. As she took a deep breath and enjoyed her last moments as a single woman, she embraced the quiet and calm as the time had finally come. All of the flowers had been selected, her jewelry handpicked, and her love was waiting for her to become his bride. This is how Catherine began her highly anticipated wedding to Jonathan.
After leaving the salon, she arrived at the Ivy Court Inn with her bridesmaids, wearing their monogrammed shirts and pearls. While, effortlessly, putting her dress on, she paused one last time and realized, she would never be Miss Gavin again. Instead, she would be someone’s wife. But not just any someone, her best friend. Piece by piece, she put on her lace-lined dress and then her earrings and then completed her look with an elegant pearl and diamond bracelet and diamond studded wedges. She was finally ready. But, first, one person needed to see her, her father.
He eagerly awaited the arrival of his Bride as he watched the time on his new Fossil watch, a gift from his soon-to-be Wife. Layer by layer, he buttoned his cuffs and put his jacket on, finishing off the look with his boutonniere. Finally, the moment had come. His Bride had finally arrived. His heart skipped a beat and happily headed to the Vestibule at the back of the church to hold his Bride’s hand from the opposite side of the door. With heightened anticipation, she grabbed his hand and quietly said a prayer. The time had come and they were only moments away from becoming Dr & Mrs Volk.
Their ceremony was nothing short of perfect with Father Rocca presiding over their marriage, blessing their love. With every personable word, he brought Catherine & Jonathan into matrimonial union. As they prayed over their lives together and offered one another their symbol of marriage, the two united as one.
Their celebration was honored by 60 of their closest friends and family. With love and laughter filling the walls of their reception, they ended their day with the fun and excitement they had dreamed of.
