I'm a wedding photographer based out of South Bend, Indiana.

I believe in always having a vase full of fresh flowers, especially during peony season. That ending a long day should always be on the patio, with a good book and a glass of rosé. And, going to the beach is always a good idea.

Hi, I'm
Katie

You’ve heard it before and maybe have said/thought it yourself “they can’t start without the bride”. To this I say “true, but what will the Bride & Groom have to give up later in their timeline. To all of the Basilica couples out there, this doesn’t apply to you as much because, well…the ceremony will start without you.
Here are 5 things that could be impacted if you are running behind on your timeline
     – Photos with the Bridal Party
     – Photos of the Bride & Groom
     – Photo locations
     – Dinner, the Chef has carefully planned out his cooking schedule, it will get cold
     – Dance floor, posed photos at the reception
5 places to give yourself padding in these areas
     – 30 extra minutes of Hair & Makeup
     – 10 extra minutes for Groom getting ready
          – I suggest 30 total minutes to allow for stragglers and trying to figure out the ties and pocket squares
     – 5-10 extra minutes of drive time to the ceremony
     – 10 extra minutes for walking around portrait locations
     – 5 extra minutes for toasts
