I'm a wedding photographer based out of South Bend, Indiana.

I believe in always having a vase full of fresh flowers, especially during peony season. That ending a long day should always be on the patio, with a good book and a glass of rosé. And, going to the beach is always a good idea.

Hi, I'm
Katie

It was the summer of 2008 on the campus of the University of Notre Dame where Kevin was working as a tour guide for the Visitor’s Center and Tracey was working at the front desk of the Alumni Association. What started out as friend as he began his Masters Program and Tracey was in her senior year at the University, eventually turned into a match made in Heaven. I mean seriously, I’ve never seen a couple laugh SOO much during their engagement session. 🙂

While working from home one Friday in August, Tracey received a message from Kevin mid-morning to set up dinner plans for that night. Cambridge was already on the list of locations they had been meaning to try so it seemed like the perfect way to start out their weekend. After coming home from work at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Kevin went for his usual run, got himself ready and then decided to wear khaki pants. Now this might not sound like an odd choice, but it was a HOT summer night in August so Tracey was a little confused especially because he asked her to get the car started so the AC could be on as he was already getting warm. They went to dinner, Kev was a little weird all night, but Tracey didn’t think much of it. They decided not to go out for drinks after dinner, and went to Redbox to rent a movie per Tracey’s unknowing suggestion. When they got back to their apartment, Kevin practically sprinted ahead of Tracey into their unit and led her into the kitchen where he had set up a lot of Tracey’s favorite flowers (orchids) and tea light candles to propose in their apartment. SWOON!!! So bummed I can’t photograph their wedding next August, but I’m so excited for them and I know it will be beautiful!
