I can only imagine the excitement Grainne felt when she as one of 2 students to attend a program at the University of Notre Dame from Ireland. I am sure that as she got on that plane and flew over the ocean to spend the next few years in the states (and snow) to be the best teacher she could possibly be, she didn’t realize she would meet the most perfect man that could ever complete who she is.
Now, 6 years later, she is married to that man and his name is Brandon. Though I probably met them briefly at their friends’ wedding a few years ago, I didn’t really meet them until the day of their wedding. However, it was like walking into my childhood bestie’s house and seeing her on the day of her wedding and getting filled with an array of emotions. Grainne is one of those women that instantly makes you feel welcomed, loved and included. Brandon is filled with joy and compassion for life, teaching, but most of all for Grainne. Together, they’re the type of couple that you want to be a part of your circle of friends because when they walk into a room, they NEVER stop smiling (and it’s highly addictive).
I was in love with all the mint, gold and blush that Grainne wove into her details. Even down to the cute little bridesmaid gift display as you first walked into the house they were getting ready in.
Grainne’s mother bought her these pearl earrings, necklace and bracelet. The were simply to die for.
Yes, she totally made sure her girl’s we covered and with all the essentials : lotions, gel cushions for their heels, jewelry, Rum Chata and of course a mint thong.
Could she be anymore elegant?
And the award for cutest flower girls goes too….these two. The sweetest little twins ever!
Dang it, Brandon, I was holding it together until this. But, I can’t blame you. You have to be the luckiest man alive.
Let’s take a moment and completely fall in love with this bridal party. They were up for WHATEVER I made them do, and not just up for it, but ROCKED it!!! You were all amazing!
Hello beautiful ladies!!
And, of course, the studs that complimented them well.
I just…I can’t even.. Grainne!!! You are gorgeous!
We got scolded for being on campus to begin with but we were able to sneak into the prayer garden to take a quick (quiet) photo at the swing where Brandon proposed.
I loved that these two teachers had books and a globe at their gift table.
I am so glad they had a videographer because their first dance was EPIC!
All the way from Ireland, Grainne’s mother and Aunt were absolutely radiant.
Congratulations to Grainne & Brandon. I was so honored to be there to document your day and hope that your life together is as amazing are your wedding was.
