It may have been love at first sight when they met 4 years ago because, according to Jon’s dad, Jon immediately started to save for the ring that he would one day use to propose to Caitlin. But, can you blame him for falling so hard so fast? Caitlin is the kind of girl that you can’t help but want to get to know and become best friends with. Her charismatic personality is infectious and I have never seen her without a smile. Then there’s Jon. He loves his new wife in a way that little girls dream about. The way he held her on their wedding day caused me to think to myself, “this guy is going to hold her up and do everything he can to keep her smiling.”
Their day was filled with happiness and sunshine (lots of sunshine) and was the perfect combination of dreamy and perfection. The brightness of the sun illuminated every detail, including their love, to create an atmosphere for their family and friends to enjoy their summer evening wedding.
Their colors of mint and blush were subtle and yet were the perfect pop against the charcoal their party wore and the white backdrop of each table setting. And yes, I LOVED every little mint detail.
Could Caitlin’s bridesmaids be any more beautiful?
Loved her white peony bouquet by Glass Slipper Weddings.
These ring security boys were the coolest dudes, ever! Sorry, Groomsmen.
One of my favorite moments.
Jon didn’t think his guests were excited enough.
Seriously though, could they have had a better looking bridal party? And the kids were everything!
When I first talked to Caitlin, she told me she loved the romance in my images. I really didn’t have to do much to capture their romance because a love this pure just glows through the images.
Custom Green Bay Packers jerseys as their guest book? Yes, please.
Sweet Elegance Custom Cakes did a fabulous job on their cake and cupcakes.
And the Groom’s cake was even perfection.
Having Jon’s dad as the best man was fantastic. My favorite part of his toast was when he said he fell in love with Caitlin when she told him “if you give me $5, I’ll get out there and dance like Elaine Benes.” Pretty sure the crowd was hoping she’d do that at her own wedding.
This was….EPIC.
Remember dad’s toast? Caitlin didn’t disappoint.
Congratulations to Caitlin & Jon. May your days as husband & wife be as “cheesy” as your love for the Green Bay Packers.
